Mundiya was born in the #PapuaNewGuinea forest. His placenta was buried in the ground where a tree seed was planted at the same time and where his clan plans to bury him if the forest is still intact.

Mundiya’s “frère des arbres/brother of trees” is Marc Dozier, movie director. Marc Dozier is my “frère des arbres” (also brother of Powes Parkop). We are “frère des arbres” with Gary Juffa, Apa Pajire Honourable Governor for Oro Province.

Mundiya is not illiterate: he does not write with an alphabet, a pen and a paper. Instead, he uses the forest as his canvas, carving / planting / harvesting / smelling / touching / listening and interrupting important conversations to interpret unexpected sounds from birds flying above.

Mundiya’s senses go beyond his eye sight. He has reached a level of complexity of symbiosis unrivalled by Western and the Eastern civilisations.
